Le Relais du Marais, 76 rue de Turbigo: three stars, 37 air-conditioned rooms, fireplace lounge and veranda, Temple metro next door. Checked October 2026.
Rue de Turbigo, in front of Temple
Le Relais du Marais stands at no. 76 rue de Turbigo, in the 3rd arrondissement, on the line between the Arts-et-Métiers quarter and the Upper Marais. Temple station, on line 3, is about fifty metres from the door.
The hotel’s website dates the company that runs it to 2001. Atout France, the body that grants official star ratings in France, classified it three stars on 22 December 2023, for 37 rooms. We place it in the middle price band (€€), an estimate drawn from that category.
Rooms and common areas
Whatever the category, rooms come with a walk-in shower and a minibar at no charge, and the hotel describes them as air-conditioned and soundproofed. The breakfast room opens onto a veranda and a small covered terrace, next to a lounge with a fireplace, and a meeting room seats ten.
There is no bar and no restaurant; drinks are served at the reception desk. The hotel says plainly that it cannot accommodate guests with reduced mobility, and its website gives no information on pets or parking.
Between Temple and République
République is three minutes on foot, and Arts et Métiers (lines 3 and 11) five. If you plan on line 8 at République, note that it does not stop there from 22 July 2026 to April 2027; lines 3, 5, 9 and 11 still do, and Temple (line 3) is a minute away. The Marché des Enfants-Rouges and the Musée des Arts et Métiers are each about seven minutes on foot.
Its immediate neighbour, Paris France Hôtel at no. 72, is the other three-star of the pair: larger, with 45 rooms, a pewter bar in its café, family rooms, and a lift serving eight floors. Le Relais du Marais answers with its fireplace lounge, its veranda and the free minibar. Five minutes away on foot, Austin’s Arts et Métiers Hôtel has rooms adapted for wheelchair users, which neither of the pair lists.
