This page keeps each hotel of our base that has an Atout France category and whose coordinates fall within 240 metres of the Village Saint-Paul, the courtyard block off the rue Saint-Paul. Distances are straight lines from the point our base gives for the rue Saint-Paul, the street of that block, and the order follows them. One unclassified hotel, the Hôtel de la Place des Vosges, is 268 metres away and has no official category, so it is not in the ranking.
Facilities are those each hotel displays on its own website, read on 2 October 2026. When a site stays silent on air conditioning or accessibility, we write that it does not mention it. The price band on each card is an estimate from the official category, not a rate. The range here runs from the one-star Sully Hôtel to the four-star Charles V and JoBo.
Where they are
All twelve are in the 4th arrondissement, and the figures below show how they spread.
Towards the river and line 7: De Neuve (Saint-Paul 300 metres on foot, Sully-Morland 350) and Saint-Louis Marais (Sully-Morland 250).
On or beside the rue Saint-Paul itself: Charles V, 17 metres from the reference point, with Saint-Paul and Sully-Morland each 250 metres on foot.
Rue d’Ormesson and rue Malher: JoBo, Pratic, Emile and Grand Hôtel Malher, with Saint-Paul station between 50 and 150 metres on foot.
Rue Saint-Antoine and its side streets: Sully Hôtel, Le Temple de Jeanne, Caron, Turenne Le Marais and Jeanne d’Arc, with Saint-Paul between 100 and 350 metres on foot.
The Village Saint-Paul is under renovation, and the hotels do not control that. The Village’s own site publishes no timetable and warns of scaffolding or altered passages in the courtyards, so check before planning a visit around it.
Sully Hôtel, Turenne Le Marais and Jeanne d’Arc are also within 175 metres of the place des Vosges; our list of hotels on the place des Vosges ranks the same area by that landmark.
Frequently asked questions
Which metro station serves the rue Saint-Paul?
Saint-Paul on line 1. Sully-Morland and Pont Marie, both on line 7, come next, and Bastille (lines 1, 5 and 8) is 450 metres on foot from the Sully Hôtel. Emile and Malher are 50 metres on foot from Saint-Paul.
Is there a four-star hotel in this part of the Marais?
Two of the twelve are classified four-star by Atout France, the Charles V and the JoBo. Both are within 210 metres of the Village Saint-Paul. The Charles V has a gym and a hammam; the JoBo has a lounge bar.
What is the Village Saint-Paul, and is it open?
It is a block of courtyards between the rue Saint-Paul, rue Charlemagne, rue des Jardins-Saint-Paul and rue de l’Ave-Maria, with about 80 antique, design and craft shops; the courtyards are open to all. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. depending on the shop. The city’s landlord has been renovating the buildings, so expect scaffolding; the official site was consulted on 2 October 2026.
Which of these hotels are fully accessible by wheelchair?
The Saint-Louis Marais calls itself entirely accessible and has a quadruple room for wheelchairs. Caron, Charles V, De Neuve, Turenne and Jeanne d’Arc each list at least one adapted room. Le Temple de Jeanne, Pratic and Emile say outright that they are not suited to wheelchairs.
Where can I park near these hotels?
Hardly any have a car park of their own. The Saint-Louis Marais and Pratic point to public or private car parks a short walk away, and the Grand Hôtel Malher cites the Rivoli-Lobau and Pont Marie car parks. Since the Paris Centre sector became a limited-traffic zone on 5 November 2024, transit by car is banned there.
