72 rue de Turbigo, 75003 Paris · 45 rooms
A three-star of 45 rooms on rue de Turbigo, one minute from Temple, with a bar, air conditioning, triple and quadruple rooms and a lift serving eight floors. It ties with Hôtel du Vieux Saule on four facilities and wins on distance to the metro. Its classification dates from 25 January 2022, which puts the renewal in January 2027.
Two categories need two rules. Among the 22 four-star hotels of the 3rd and 4th arrondissements, we kept all those that list at least four facilities on their own website: restaurant, bar, spa, pool, gym, terrace, courtyard, air conditioning, family and accessible rooms, pets, parking. Twelve qualify. Among the 29 three-stars, which would otherwise swamp the page, we kept the hotel with the most facilities in each arrondissement: De Neuve in the 4th and, after a tie with Hôtel du Vieux Saule broken by distance to the metro, Paris France in the 3rd.
The cards run by number of facilities, then by walking time to the nearest station, then in alphabetical order. A facility count measures scope, not quality, and several smaller houses, such as Une Autre Chambre or Maison Saintonge, are left out for that reason alone. Each hotel is classified by Atout France, the French national agency that awards the stars; the date of each classification is shown on its card.
Where they are
Arts-et-Métiers, 3rd. National, Marais Grands Boulevards and Jules & Jim, near the Arts et Métiers museum and several metro lines, in an area outside the tourist zones.
Haut-Marais and Archives, 3rd. Boudoir des Muses and Petit Moulin, around the rue de Bretagne, Georgette near Rambuteau, and Villa Beaumarchais, about 330 metres from the Picasso museum.
Saint-Paul and Rosiers, 4th. Charles V, Goralska, De Neuve and 9Confidentiel, on lines 1, 5 and 7.
Hôtel de Ville and the island, 4th. Duo and the Jeu de Paume.
The tourist tax is added to the bill, per adult and per night: €8.45 in a four-star, €5.53 in a three-star in 2026. Dates and classification terms are shown on each card, because a classification lasts five years and several of the hotels above come due in 2026 or 2027.
Which 4-star hotels in Le Marais have a spa or a pool?
Boudoir des Muses has two private spas, one with a pool, rented by the session; Hôtel du Jeu de Paume has a hammam, sauna and gym in its cellars; Charles V has a hammam and a gym for guests. None of the other four-stars on this page has a pool. Hôtel du Petit Moulin, for its part, directs guests to the spa of its sister hotel.
How many 4-star hotels are there in Le Marais?
Our database counts 22 open four-star hotels in the 3rd and 4th arrondissements, 13 in the 3rd and 9 in the 4th, and 29 three-star hotels. Twelve four-star hotels are on this page, the ones listing at least four facilities.
What is the difference between a 3-star and a 4-star in Le Marais?
In our database, air conditioning appears in 17 of the 22 four-star hotels and in 21 of the 29 three-stars; adapted rooms in 11 and 10 respectively. The tourist tax differs more: in 2026, €8.45 per adult and night in a four-star and €5.53 in a three-star.
Does a four-star hotel have to have air conditioning?
The official classification requires it in the rooms of five-star hotels only. According to the hotel union UMIH, quoted in the press, it is expected from four stars. Five of the 22 four-star hotels in our database do not mention it, so check the room page for a summer stay.
Are there 3-star hotels in Le Marais with good facilities?
Yes, and the facilities do not always follow the stars. De Neuve in the 4th and Paris France in the 3rd list the most among the three-stars; Castex, Saint-Louis Marais and Vieux Saule come close, at four each. Cheaper three- and two-star options are in [cheap hotels in Le Marais](/cheap-hotels-le-marais/).
