Hotels Marais Paris

A 1910 building on rue de Turbigo

Paris France Hôtel stands at no. 72 rue de Turbigo, in the 3rd arrondissement, where the Arts-et-Métiers quarter meets the Upper Marais. The entrance of Temple station, on line 3, is about fifty metres away.

The building is a stone one in the Belle Époque style, completed in 1910. Its entrance has kept stone arches and a period mosaic floor, and the café beyond it a traditional pewter bar — the only bar among the four other three-star hotels within four minutes of here in our base.

It is an independent hotel. Atout France, the national agency that awards official stars to French hotels, classified it three stars on 25 January 2022, for 45 rooms. Our base puts it in the lowest price band (€), going by the starting rate displayed on its website on 2 October 2026; we do not reproduce the figure, which varies by date.

Rooms and services

Rooms have individual air conditioning, and a lift serves all eight floors. Triples and quadruples take three or four guests, and a cot can be provided. Some rooms face the église Sainte-Élisabeth-de-Hongrie, a listed church immediately next door.

Beyond the bar, a lounge and a terrace that the website mentions without describing, services are limited. Breakfast is the only meal, and we found no spa, gym, adapted room or pet policy. Drivers are offered a private car park near the hotel rather than on site.

Temple, République and the neighbours

The address is above all a transport choice. Besides Temple, République is four minutes away and Arts et Métiers (lines 3 and 11) five. From 22 July 2026 to April 2027, works mean line 8 skips République, which lines 3, 5, 9 and 11 still serve. On foot, the Musée des Arts et Métiers and the Marché des Enfants-Rouges are each about six minutes away.

Next door at no. 76, Le Relais du Marais is also classified three stars, with 37 rooms, air conditioning and a free minibar, but no bar and no access for guests with reduced mobility. Three minutes away, the Hôtel Meslay République (39 rooms) accepts pets, which Paris France does not mention. For an adapted room, Austin’s Arts et Métiers Hôtel, four minutes away, has rooms on the ground floor reached by a mobile ramp.

Frequently asked questions

Paris France Hôtel review — who is it for?

We publish no score and no guest reviews. On the facts, it suits travellers who want the metro at the door, a 1910 setting and rooms for three or four in a low price band. It suits less well guests who need an adapted room or a restaurant.

How far is the hotel from the metro?

Temple, on line 3, is about 50 metres away. République is about four minutes on foot (lines 3, 5, 9 and 11; line 8 does not stop there from 22 July 2026 to April 2027 because of works), and Arts et Métiers five.

Does Paris France Hôtel have family rooms?

Yes. Triple and quadruple rooms take three or four people, and a cot can be added.

Is there a lift?

Yes. The website mentions a lift serving the hotel’s eight floors.

Is it the same hotel as Le Relais du Marais next door?

No. Both are three-star hotels on rue de Turbigo, at nos. 72 and 76, but they are run by different companies.
