The list takes every hotel in our base that has an Atout France category and whose coordinates fall within 310 metres of the rue des Rosiers, measured in a straight line from the middle of the street. The rank follows that distance, closest first. Walking routes are longer than a straight line, so read the distances as a ranking, not as a timetable.
We left out unclassified guest houses, since a hotel without an official category cannot be compared on the same footing. Facilities come from each hotel’s own website, checked on 2 October 2026; where a site is silent on a point, we say so rather than assume. We publish no rates. The price band shown on each card is an estimate from the official category.
Two readers use this page differently. If you arrive by metro, look at the station figures in the cards first. If you want the street itself at your door, the three closest hotels are all within 210 metres.
Where they are
The thirteen sit in three small sectors of the 4th arrondissement, and the difference shows in the walk.
Around the rue Malher and the rue des Rosiers, the quiet end of the Saint-Paul district: Malher, Emile, JoBo, Pratic and Le Temple de Jeanne, all within 150 metres on foot of Saint-Paul station.
Between the rue de Rivoli and the rue du Roi-de-Sicile: Roi de Sicile, 9Confidentiel, France Louvre, De Nice, Dupond-Smith and Caron de Beaumarchais. Pont Marie and Hôtel de Ville are each between 350 and 600 metres on foot.
Towards Hôtel de Ville and Rambuteau: Bourg-Tibourg and the Bretonnerie, which are 400 to 450 metres on foot from Hôtel de Ville.
For the sights next door, our guide to the rue des Rosiers lists opening habits and what to see, and the page on the Jewish quarter gives the history. If the 4th as a whole matters more than one street, start with the hotels of the 4th arrondissement.
Metro at a glance
Every hotel here has a station within 500 metres on foot. Saint-Paul (line 1) serves the largest group, with Emile and Malher at 50 metres, JoBo and Le Temple de Jeanne at 100 and Pratic at 150, all on foot. Hôtel de Ville (lines 1 and 11) is the nearest or joint-nearest station for Bourg-Tibourg, De Nice, the Bretonnerie and 9Confidentiel, and Pont Marie (line 7) is 400 metres on foot from Caron de Beaumarchais and 350 from Roi de Sicile.
If your plans centre on the north of the Marais, the page on hotels near the Hôtel de Ville groups the same sector by a different landmark.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a hotel on the rue des Rosiers itself?
Not in our base. None of the thirteen hotels has an address on the street, which is 303 metres long. The nearest, the Dupond-Smith, is 184 metres away in a straight line, on the rue des Guillemites.
Which metro station is closest to the rue des Rosiers?
The street has no station of its own. Most of these hotels are served by Saint-Paul on line 1, Hôtel de Ville on lines 1 and 11, or Pont Marie on line 7; the Grand Hôtel Malher and the Hôtel Emile are both 50 metres on foot from Saint-Paul.
Is the street busy on Sundays?
Yes. It has been pedestrianised on Sundays since 2006 under the Paris Respire programme, and queues form at the falafel counters at midday. During the week it has little traffic, is cobbled and is limited to 30 km/h.
Are the shops open on Saturday?
Many kosher businesses and shops run by observant owners close from late Friday afternoon to Saturday evening and reopen on Sunday. The fashion boutiques on the street stay open on Saturday. This is worth knowing if you plan a Saturday lunch there.
Which of these hotels accept pets?
Four state it on their sites. The Dupond-Smith takes dogs, 9Confidentiel pets up to 20 kg for a supplement, the Hôtel de Nice well-behaved animals, the Bretonnerie small pets. Caron de Beaumarchais, Malher, Emile and France Louvre refuse them.
Which of them suits a family?
The Bretonnerie has a family room for four. Roi de Sicile has suites for up to four with a kitchen, 9Confidentiel four communicating rooms and the Grand Hôtel Malher triple rooms. Pratic lists family rooms among its facilities.
