Hotels Marais Paris

Western end of rue du Roi-de-Sicile

The Hôtel 9Confidentiel is at 58 rue du Roi-de-Sicile, in the 4th arrondissement. Atout France, the French classification body, rated it four stars on 1 September 2026, with 29 rooms. The date is recent: this is a newly classified house, and we cite the classification as the register gives it.

The address is a borderline one. The hotel stands at the western end of the street, where it meets rue Vieille-du-Temple and rue du Bourg-Tibourg. The street leads east into the Pletzl, the old Jewish quarter around rue des Rosiers, but the hotel is about 150 metres from rue du Bourg-Tibourg, so it sits between two characters of the Marais.

Design, bar and rooms

The hotel is part of 9Hotel Collection, according to its website. Its interior was imagined by the decorator Philippe Starck: the Club rooms and the Marcelle suite are described as his design. The top-floor Suite Aurore, on the sixth floor, looks over the Paris rooftops, and the hotel counts three suites with panoramic views.

Le Confidence, the bar, takes its decor from the 1920s and serves cocktails from Tuesday to Saturday, 3 pm to 10.45 pm, according to the hotel’s page checked on 2 October 2026. Hours change, so confirm before planning an evening around them.

On the practical side, there are two rooms for guests with reduced mobility, four communicating rooms and pets up to 20 kg for a supplement, plus air conditioning. The hotel also holds the Clef Verte eco-label. Missing are a restaurant, a spa and a private car park; breakfast is a buffet, and guests who want treatments go to a partner spa-boutique nearby.

Metro and walking

Hôtel de Ville, on lines 1 and 11, is 450 metres away, about six minutes. Pont Marie (line 7) and Saint-Paul (line 1) are each 500 metres, also about six minutes. The Hôtel de Ville guide covers the building, about 400 metres on foot. The BHV Marais department store is about 250 metres away, the Shoah Memorial about 300 and rue des Rosiers about 300.

Next to it

This corner has several small hotels within a short walk. The three-star Hôtel France Louvre, 34 rooms, is about 50 metres away on foot, and the four-star Hôtel Bourg Tibourg, 24 rooms, also about 50. The three-star Hôtel de Nice has 23 rooms and also stands about 50 metres off. Slightly farther, about 150 metres away, Hôtel Dupond-Smith has just eight rooms and five stars, while Le Grand Mazarin, also five stars, has 61.

Frequently asked questions

Is 9Confidentiel a four-star or a luxury hotel?

Atout France classed it four stars on 1 September 2026. The hotel's website uses design and luxury wording, but the official class is four stars, and that is what we print.

Does 9Confidentiel have a spa?

Not on site. Treatments by Maison Codage are given in a partner spa-boutique nearby, so book that separately from the room.

Which group runs it?

To 9Hotel Collection, according to the hotel’s website.

What does a 9Confidentiel review need to cover?

We offer no ratings. The checkable points are the four-star class from September 2026, 29 rooms, Starck-designed interiors, a bar open Tuesday to Saturday afternoons and evenings in October 2026, and no on-site spa.
