Seven addresses and one rule

This is a selection, not a ranking: no scores, no customer reviews. Each address appears in an editorial source named below, has an official website and has left a trace of recent activity. Those that fail any of the three tests are left out on purpose.

Where each address sits

We geocoded the seven addresses with the French national address base and measured them against our database; distances are straight-line, and walking times follow our method (distance × 1.3, at 80 m a minute). Five of the seven are in the 3rd arrondissement and two in the 4th.

Counting by price band

The bands are those of Le Fooding and the Michelin Guide, and Time Out for Miznon; none is a menu price. Over €51: Les Enfants Rouges, Datil and Ogata. €36 to €50: Parcelles and the Bistrot des Tournelles. €16 to €35: Bontemps. Miznon is a single euro sign at Time Out. Among the three addresses the Michelin Guide cites, Datil is at the fourth band, « €€€€ », and Les Enfants Rouges and Parcelles at « €€€ ». In short, three of the seven sit in the highest Fooding band and two in the middle one.

Planning a meal around a visit

The three tables nearest the Museum of Hunting and Nature are Les Enfants Rouges, Datil and Parcelles, all within about 250 metres, and the Picasso Museum is closest to Ogata, at 172 metres. After the Maison de Victor Hugo or the place des Vosges, the Bistrot des Tournelles is 121 and 192 metres away; it serves dinner only, so it is a fit for an evening. For lunch near the rue des Rosiers, Miznon opens at noon every day except Saturday, and on Friday it closes at 4 p.m. Bontemps, beside the covered market, opens at 10.30 a.m. on Sunday, the earliest Sunday opening among the addresses whose hours we have.

Check the opening hours again before booking: the Fooding lists date from July 2024, its individual pages from 2025, and the official sites were read in October 2026 where they could be read.

Editorial sources

Every address except Miznon, which comes from Time Out Paris, appears on Le Fooding’s page on restaurants in the Marais. The Michelin Guide is cited for Les Enfants Rouges, Datil and Parcelles. Price bands are those of these publications; we found no priced menu.
